I think you have to go back to Odenwingie for our last proper goal scorer and that is a good few seasons back. Truth iis we haven't had any proper goal scorer since so for me having the tightest defense is vi-tal. Rarely do we have the luxury of being two or three goals up in a game. Part of the deal with The Baggies.

I?d say Dwight Gayle qualifies as a proper goal scorer, and Romelu Lukaku of course, who was on loan one season when Odemwingie was with us.
