With the greatest of respect to Tony Mowbray, given the nature and content of most of his pre and post match interviews across both spells with us I would be highly inclined to take much of what he says with a very hefty salt mine.

I mean its a fairly simple and logical approach though Bomber.Originally posted by Bombers right foot View PostFootball is a simple game complicated by ridiculous game models thought up by many who haven?t a clue, Tony Mowbray in his interview with Bernie Slaven was correct in saying there?s too much interference and meddling from people from above, just let the coach do his job, Nestor?s already got it wrong twice with Cautious Corberan and bringing back Mowbray at the wrong time, I feel the Mason tenure will end in failure
Choose a way of playing > bring in a manager that wants to play that system > buy players that suit that system
If you keep changing the manager who wants to play a different way, you have to keep replacing the players.
Put it this way, Brighton have this simple approach, West Ham dont. Liverpool do it, United dont. It goes without saying who is doing better.
Nestor wasnt here when Corberan was appointed (who was a cracking manager btw) but i think they would agree Mowbray was a disaster.

Corberon could not take us no further in my opinion and his style of football was like watching paint dry! Corberon started well at Valencia but now after eight games this season they are three points off the bottom. I fear Mason is following in his footsteps.
Oh for a Coventry style of fast attacking football with plenty of goals. Surely this is not too much to ask?
Where does Jed Wallace fit into the Nestor Model?

Again, Wallace was bought before the Nestor Model came in. So he probably wont fit in when his contract is upOriginally posted by baggieal View PostCorberon could not take us no further in my opinion and his style of football was like watching paint dry! Clearly he wont Matt being the highest wage earner on 30K per week. That said a model needs to be built now and polished therefore starting Wallace and retaining his captaincy is baffling. Players like Jenkins, Bostock and Bray are the future but it takes a manager with balls to give them minutes.
Todays game has revolved and clubs are going for an athletic with pace more and more. Our Jed cant run and does not have quick feet. Squad player yes but starting - its a piss take for me!
