  • Reyes Cleary on his bike

  • #2
Reyes Cleary has today joined Sky Bet League One team Barnsley in a permanent transfer.

The 21-year-old attacker, who came through Albion?s academy, spent time on loan last season with Walsall and Hartlepool in League Two and the National League respectively.

He made a total of seven first-team appearances across all competitions for the Baggies.

Everyone at the football club would like to wish Reyes the very best for his future career.

Think we need a few more out at the other end of the age scale...

Best of luck to him. Hope he does good and paves way to making a good livelihood at whatever level he achieves.

So I see Devante has been a big disappointment. 😦
Are you looking to get rid of him then this month, maybe on the cheap ?.
And I thought I'd tell you that Reyes Cleary had a really good looking debut for us yesterday, as a sub.
Maybe, and remember this is Lg One level, we might have got a good one here with Reyes. 👍

I wish Reyes well as great potential. Cole is useless and sympathy for Dike gone. Look at the below:

So, using Capology estimates, since arriving at The Hawthorns three and a half years ago, West Brom have paid dike an estimated ?32,308-per-week across 187.9 weeks of employment. This translates to a whopping ?6,069,289 in wages for a player who has managed just 43 appearances in all competitions.

So SIX MILLION for 43 appearances FFS

Cole would struggle serving the pies at half time, no way is he a footballer, wouldn’t get into the Kettering Town team!

Has Cole still got that little bag of tools lol, which he used to throw 'down', when he wasn't getting his own way. 😁
To be fair I don't think he's ever had the chance to prove himself in the Championship.
But it looks like he joined your team for the big pay off, at this late stage of his career.

Like I say Al, its such a shame for Dike.
Players injuries are so annoying, and while they surely aren't doing it on purpose. It makes it worse when you get to know how much they are getting paid.
We've just had the same with a player called Josh Benson, and have decided to cut ties with him as he's too much of an injury risk.
And now at his new club, at the start of a new season, he's on crutches again and could be out for about six weeks, or more!!. 😩

Hey still on about Reyes Cleary here, did you see that goal he scored for us yesterday, at Bradford ?.
He saw the keeper off his line, and just hit it, from 60 years out. Unbelievable Jeff!!. 😧
Its an absolutely brilliant hit, and it almost burst the net. Although thats probably because their keeper, also flew into the net as well. 😁
How often do we get to see amazing goals like that ehh lol.

I hadn't realised that was him. Great vision with that and great execution.

                              Indeed, some goal!

Always hoped that he would be able to develop his clear promise at PL2 level to transfer into our first team but not to be. Wonder strike aside, how is he performing for you at Barnsley Acido?
