I had an original 78 of Rock Around The Clock by Bill Haley and The Comets, kept it for years, then someone sat on it, 78’s don’t bend!

Can't remember the first album I ever bought. My mom bought me the first one I ever owned though. I think it was Pinky and Perky's Hit Parade. That or a similar compilation of high pitched squealing noises. Not unlike a lot of 'music' in fairness 😊 .

Not quite the same but I remember thos albums with compilation hits it generally featured a woman on the cover sleeve holding a pint of beer with big breasts or was that something else?

Can't remember the pint of beer but EMI's mfp used to do Hot Hits compilation albums featuring mini or maxi skirted "dolly bird" models on the covers. Me and my brothers mostly had those K-tel ones though which were a bit more salubrious!😀
