    Phild?s last thread started me reminiscing?.my first 2 were

    My Old Man?s a Dustman?.followed by Fings ain?t what they used to be !

    My sister had a Dansette record player.

        The first single I ever bought myself (not bought for me) was Bob Dylan's Positively 4th Street, in I think 1965, and its still my favourite Dylan track of all time.

          Was not the first single that I bought but it is also my favourite Bob Dylan track. Honestly cannot remember the first single that I bought

              Im not sure about this one, i bought very few singles. It could have been Seasons in the Sun - Terry Jacks or Cozy Powell - Dance with the Devil

                  He had a unique voice his follow up was IF YOU GO AWAY which did quite well but anything after that bombed he just faded from memory after the 70s

                      Have a feeling that my first single I bought was Dave Clark Five with Glad All Over in 1964. Still being sung at Selhurst Park I believe.
