The point is the ammo and aid is a percentage of each NATO Countries GDP so it?s nonsense that a smaller Country can?t contribute the same. Some are contributing zero or almost zero! Why is this allowed?

I am gobsmacked that NATO don?t have the clout to deal with Russia alone. Surely all the NATO leaders should put pressure on Trump to sell long range missiles. The weakness for me is for Trump to sell them when it?s clear N Korean trumps are helping on the battlefield and China and Iran are supplying drones/parts. You would have thought Trump would be saying to Putin - pull back all the foreign troops and use of external drones or long range missiles will be sold. That?s like for like for me but Putin having it all one way!

Still say though a lot of these NATO leaders are gutless and full of self interest.

Bit of triv which I am sure you're aware of Dubbs but Ireland have beaten the West Indies at cricket. Don't know whether it was a Test but they've definitely beaten them. FACT 😉 .

What are the mighty NATO leaders doing to take the fight to Russia? There?s enough NATO countries on the doorstep to Russia so why the need to keep running to the White House?

PS - maybe if the 5/6 NATO countries stopped buying Russian Oil ( yes still doing it ) their killing machines wouldn?t be so active!
It is Turkey, Hungary and Slovakia buying the oil apparently. This is because it is being sold at a very low rate. All three have leaders that promote self interest, rather than the good of NATO. Particular Orban.

On a separate note, there are a lot of intel that Russian is making very slow progress and the drone attacks on their infrastructure is working at wrecking their economy. They probably cant sustain a war for the amount of years Ukraine can hold them back.

I think Putin is shifting on getting a deal and Trump is delaying dealing with him whilst the damage is taking hold to improve bargaining position.

The only way to tackle a bully is head on. I see storm shadow missiles were used last night and can see long range missiles used in the coming weeks as they should. Putin is a coward and once he?s on the defensive he will want a deal.

There is to be no meeting. Russia has said that it will not attend.

Tomahawks were mentioned and suddenly Russia makes the impression it wants to talk whilst still continuing with the war. Trump does a U-turn on Tomahawkes and Russia says we are not talking.

It is quite easy to see Russia is playing Trump while the big oaf orange one is more concerned with building a ball room in the Whitehouse.

Back to NATO and its funding. I see where people are coming from, however small countries, let?s take Estonia for and example, are unable to provide the 2% of their GPD. Should they do so, then it would be to the detriment of the Estonian people, many who are already on the poverty breadline.

I agree it should be more of an even playing field, in an ideal world it should be perhaps, the world however, is not an even playing field. If we want strength in numbers then those nations with the wealth will have to assist those that do not have it.

The alternative does not bear thinking about. Trump has hinted he wants out of NATO. If the US does leave, then we will see what will happen to Europe. Better start learning Russian now. Mind, we will likely not need it for long.
