Too slow, no urgency, multiple passes when one would suffice, poor defending for their second goal. All in all, another really poor performance.

Embarrassing and to be honest Mason is out of his depth. CC?s coach can do one too waving his note pad around!!

          welcome to my world

          Mason is not the answer

His tactics let teams set up defensively making it much harder to create goals .

He is both inexperienced and lacks the courage to go for a win

How can the coaching staff be so unaware of the realities of championship football.

With Mason we'll be a top half club at best .

Some hard talking and soul searching and the owner has to decide - Mason or his notebook man

          I

Careful what you wish for gents. This aint a great side by any stretch. To think another manager would come in and get us to over-perform is thinking in miracles.

To think we wont lose the odd match with this side is daft. To think that another manager can come in and suddenly they know how to move it quicker and better is also daft.

We need some new attacking players!

Biggest problem Matt is the midfield - no pace and creativeness! That said judging by a number of games now you could say the weakness is in a few positions. Campbell and Grant looked awful when they came on and Dike is like a lump.

Don?t mind losing but it?s how we lose and other teams below us don?t play this boring football! We need one real leader on the pitch but oh my God - super Jed is still the Captain!

Nestor should keep his nose out of football affairs! The Nestor Model FFS!

2000 supporters at Millwall and Watford to watch absolute garbage!

Didn't see game, only heard snippets on radio.
Disappointing to not hang onto the lead for longer.
It would need a few consecutive defeats and the crowd turning for Mason to be sacked.
It could all turn around at Ipswich, lets hope so.

But itÂ’s an oddity to call out issues in squad quality, and suggest the manager should do better. Maybe he would do better with a better squad.

I dont think we are well setup but it would be miles worse without Patel and Nestor. We were in free fall before they came here.

I think we just need to give it time and recognise where we have been, where we are now and where we could be with a couple of attacking players. We are still going in the right direction.

Might be nice to see some passion, energy and desire like Millwall and Watford showed not this arrogant tippy tappy garbage thinking we are leagues above the opponents.
In the Championship this tippy tappy stuff doesn?t work you have to match the opposition for desire, endeavour and energy

100% correct! I would rather see the likes of Bostock and Bray given minutes and then does not matter if we lose. Losing in the manner last night with those tactics and style of football with highly paid players is sickening.

I hope Grant, Dike and Wallace do one in June and think of what they are paid versus what they contribute!

                          100%

We do sadly portray an arrogance and the team would do well to study the differing commitment evident at Watford, displayed by players and coaches.

                            Thumbs up from me too!👍

I believe Matt is right in a lot of things he says. We do have a few good individual players but we lack quality in certain areas (e.g. a creative midfielder- unless Bany can prove otherwise &#128512 and the depth of squad. Given our financial position post Lai, how could it be other wise though? It is a work in progress and far to early to dismiss Nestor's ideas yet.

What I do find frustrating is that we can have games like we did against PNE where we showed some intent and passion and follow it up by games like the one on Wednesday. I get that we all may have a "bad day at the office" at some time and just have to move on from it but this lack of consistency is frustrating at best. Is it the players themselves or Mason and the system he asks them to play in certain games? I don't know, but the minimum I would expect from any player is effort and desire-which the tippy-tappy stuff is not conducive to!

It?s not just the squad albeit there could be improvements but the boring and s hite football - sideways - backwards and sideways. That?s Mason! Do you honestly think those supporters at Millwall and Watford should just say - oh well! Had we played like N Ireland v Germany and every player gave blood and pressed and pressed but lost then many would say - they couldn?t do no more!

Should we keep blaming Lai and we nearly went bankrupt blah blah blah. Let?s therefore keep blaming Blair for the unrest in the Middle East and Thatcher with the Poll Tax or Cameron not having the balls to make a Brexit decision.

Good managers should do the best with what they have FFS and many do.
