7 points minimum required from the next three games, for that to happen we need to be more positive and at least have a shot

Lets hope the Nestor Model includes an " A " for attack. This data driven model must be close to explosion if it's monitoring sideways and backwards passing

It is certainly a good thing not to be faced with teams like Coventry in our coming matches but one of the things with this league is that most teams seem to be able to beat anyone on the day so-as has already been pointed out-we cannot under-estimate any of them, including the Owls.

It has been apparent for some time that we are missing a creative playmaker in midfield but, even so, we are surely capable of achieving more than we have been. Mason's options in midfield were limited yesterday with both Collyer and Molumby not being available but it was the game plan and tactics that frustrated most.

In his post match interview, Mason talked of his anger and disappointment at the players not managing to see this game plan through as Griffith's late mistake saw us (yet again) stumbling at the last fence. The problem is that he doesn't seem to recognize that the game plan itself only invited continued pressure over too long a period. He also talked about the players seeming to lack belief in themselves that they could get that goal back, let alone win yet the plan seemed almost designed to manage a draw at best. Aside from the rather frantic last 10 mins we offered so very little in attacking intent.

Personally, I did see some desire (if not always enough quality) from our attacking players, particularly towards the end of the match but it was too little and much too late. It was as if they realised that the defensive game plan that had generally worked well for most of the game had yet again come undone late on and it was panic stations to try and rescue a point. Surely much better to avoid getting ourselves into that situation in the first place and show attacking intent from the start?

Whatever happens bomber, you are bang on with what you say about the need for a greater desire to win and more determination, energy and commitment- though you would have thought that these should all be a prerequisite!

        This is really sad reading
Apparently It has been 66 league games since Albion came from behind to win.
In the last 12 months Albion have conceded 12 goals after 80+ minutes at a cost of 10 points
Looks like Nestor?s model is really working🤬

I agree about a creative midfielder and Matt mentioned that Grimes was excellent and a really power in the middle for Coventry. He had Championship experience and was signed from Swansea for less than the waste of money we paid for Heggebo. Whose fault is that? Think of the wages we are paying for Wallace, Grant and Dike. They surely have got to be gone with a big boot come June?

I couldn't even tell you when we last went on an unbeaten run that didn't include mostly draws...I'd say early 2000's.

There is no way of sugar coating it, we are a poor side at the present moment. We lack desire, creativity, pace, basically most of the credentials that make a good side. If there is no improvement soon we could find ourselves in serious trouble. I hate saying it but that is how I feel at the present moment. I am at the stage where I seriously think that we could struggle to beat Wednesday on Saturday.

I agree LB. The club is in transition and it will take time to sort out. You can change the manager all you want but the players are bang average and a mid table finish will be a good season for us.
Mason should have the full season to gain experience and progress. No real point in getting to worked up over it. Blame social media for this constant updating. We have a bang average squad of players who will scrap wins here and there and hopefully enough to stay clear of a relegation battle.
It is what it is.....so suck it up and enjoy other things in your life besides football.

Morning Dubbs. Carlos Corberan lost his first game in charge against Sheffield United. We then won ten and drew two in a twelve game unbeaten run which took us from 23rd in the table to playoff contention.
