  • My computer has been out of action for three days, annual leave at PC World. Surprised that the death of Roger Hunt has gone unmentioned. Not many of the World Cup winners squad left now. Always referred to as a nice guy. After retirement he worked for the family haulage firm, often driving a truck.

      • Ron Tutt, drummer for Elvis until his death and then Neil Diamond, passed away recently. A superb drummer and a fine and respected human being. I have been to a fair few concerts where he was playing, usually in the front row because of connections. That was a great band that Neil Diamond assembled. Sadly I will not see them again as Neil Diamond has Parkinson's Disease, but he still keeps in touch with his UK fan club.

              • Sad to report the passing of Dennis Waterman yesterday aged 74. He died at his home in Spain. He was great as Terry in Minder, along with George Cole, and more recently New Tricks. A great actor RIP.

                            • Franny Lee, scored loads of penalty's for all the clubs he played for. He became a very shrewed business man and made fortunes making toilet paper and tissues.
