What did Tony Stewart do, he dilly dallied in not keeping Warnock as manager, as I said in a long previous post, Warnock should have been offered a place on the board, then we would have had a football brain in the boardroom.
What happened was the club got a manager in Alan Stubbs who managed a Scottish championship side, being Tony Stewart & the board not being football wise, thought he would be on par to be a English championship manager.again a bad decision, no football knowledge in the boardroom.
Alan Stubbs bought players in his wisdom, thinking that the players being Scottish championship standard, was the same as the English championship, Stubbs totally got things wrong, paid the prize of dismissal.
But we as fans have to realise that the seed was sown by Tony Stewart, by not having a football focused member on the board of Rotherham United, bad decisions have been the down turn of the club.
Now the club & the fans are paying the penalty, where relegation looks the club in the eyes, bad decisions in the boardroom will cost the club revenue in gate proceeds, & a big fight to get back if relegated.
Fans on the website have said what is wrong, be it the fans pay to watch the club, its time the boardroom listened.
