Agree with this but oddly enough most of our best performances, albeit mainly in defeat, have been against the top teams so if we can reproduce that level with perhaps new squad additions against the lower half teams for the rest of the season and pick up 2/3 of points available then things will look up.
Plus. we played well against Liverpool and were doing well against Spurs before Shelvey reminded us why he can't be trusted.
(conversely, our performance against Watford made them look like Barcelona-troubling given the freefall they're in now)
A point against Liverpool is the only one out of the top 10.But we've taken 21 points from the bottom 10 who basically with none to little investment and a championship squad are our competitors
We've certainly taken points against the bottom where we've needed to in most cases.
That is reassuring going into the 2nd part of season.
Well if we do get to see some injection of cash I hope it’s soon, as we play Swansea a week on Sat.
That's what they say ya need to do if you want to survive , beat the *******s around ya...
Swansea look a different team now mind 😑
And we've took 21 points from those teams around us.New players will give us that bit of confidence to make sure of survival
