Our record against the bottom half of the table is key

With very little investment given in the summer our record against teams who are in the bottom half is very impressive .

Agree with this but oddly enough most of our best performances, albeit mainly in defeat, have been against the top teams so if we can reproduce that level with perhaps new squad additions against the lower half teams for the rest of the season and pick up 2/3 of points available then things will look up.

Plus. we played well against Liverpool and were doing well against Spurs before Shelvey reminded us why he can't be trusted.

(conversely, our performance against Watford made them look like Barcelona-troubling given the freefall they're in now)

A point against Liverpool is the only one out of the top 10.But we've taken 21 points from the bottom 10 who basically with none to little investment and a championship squad are our competitors

We've certainly taken points against the bottom where we've needed to in most cases.

That is reassuring going into the 2nd part of season.

Well if we do get to see some injection of cash I hope it’s soon, as we play Swansea a week on Sat.

That's the way it needs to work in the position we are in. The more points for us, the less for the rivals around us.
