No not the crappy TV show but the Orwellian principle. It turns out that a 40 year old cold case of a Californian serial killer has been cracked because of DNA patterns from his relatives from samples which they had submitted to Ancestry DNA to discover their genetic make up.
Big Brother is indeed watching us. Wouldn't get me submitting samples to these web sites, no matter how much I want to prove I have no Welsh in me XD
