I wonder how they can be sure of that?

I wonder how they can be sure of that?
I heard Trump's jealous we have the super variant and has signed an executive order allowing his scientist's to produce Covid++
France never had CJD when we suffered with it here in cattle. Why?
They didn’t test for it. No test no stats.
Thats from someone I know who used to test for it here with Defra.
From what I’ve learnt our scientists are leading edge with the genetic code sequencing of the virus and tracking and auditing its various mutations. So yes although we are the first to identify, or at least publically announce it as such it is likely that it is indeed widespread in Europe as well.
In the end ignorance will be no excuse but let’s face it many of worlds governments have little or no accurate idea of what’s going on.
To use the football analogy again the opposition have scored another goal just when we were getting back into the game.
I said all along that a vaccine wouldn't work, all it does is cause the virus to mutate into something more potent.
The vaccine doesn't prevent people from getting Covid, you can still get it and pass it on to others, you will still have to wear a mask and social distance. It may prevent you from getting a severe bout which affects 0.6% of those who contract it.
Time to rush through another vaccine to test on the Guinea Pigs.
Jeez 55, you turned into an infectious disease expert over night. You’ve come to the conclusion that the vaccine causes the virus to mutate? ffs i’ve heard it all now. Is that your own personal finding?
I’m interested to know where you get your analysis above from. Genuinely interested.
For a highly intelligent bloke you do occasionally come out with some utter tosh Des.
We’ve only just started rolling out the vaccine, this Covid variant sprouted up some weeks ago.
Viruses mutate as a matter of course, it’s their remit, that’s what they do, they infect and mutate.
I honestly hope you don’t catch Covid and really suffer and have the time to reflect.
I'm no medical expert, but it isn't tosh.
Covid is a virus and viruses mutate, this is why there has never been a cure for the common cold which is also a Coronavirus.
My point is by containing it and using an antivirus you are prolonging and changing the DNA of the virus.
Viruses have to run their course, and the original idea was to let it and just isolate the vulnerable. But the NHS which surprise surprise has become a third world organisation due to lack of funding cannot cope with the numbers. Our statistics are third world compared to a progressive country like Germany.
I am taking it very seriously as my wife is asthmatic. I had a call from my mom's nursing home asking for my consent to the Covid jab. I said there is nothing wrong with my mom's mind and if she was happy to have it I'm okay with it, so she had it.
If the vaccine was a 100% cure for Covid i would have it tomorrow. But it just gives you a chance to get less severe symptoms, and like Flu you can still get the virus and die even if you have the jab.
It's down to personal choice.
As i say if it stopped you from getting Covid and we could all get back to normal i would have it no problem.
The worrying thing is the new strain, and unfortunately I can see it mutating again and again.
Apologies if I came over as an unconcerned know it all, I'm not that at all.
