Can't be legal. Reason I asked about credit note is I've come across this before by someone in front of me in a queue and it was flatly refused; it's not strictly permissable to issue a credit note as change. A credit note can only be issued in lieu of a refund resulting from an incorrect invoice and is for fees already paid.Quote:
