I agree that the former Caird Park golf course would be a far more suitable site for a new football stadium than the one at Campy Nou.
Dundee City Council could make a bit of money selling the site to Tim Keyes assuming that the Council have the right to sell the land in the first place. There might be clauses inserted in the title deeds which states that Caird Park was donated to the citizens of Dundee for sporting activities.
That means that the Council cannot sell the land and pocket the money for themselves.
New housing, shops, a hotel and a crematorium would not be permitted to be built on the Caird Park site.
