As Deeranged has said a few times the concept of OAP is so out dated imho.
There are poor pensioners as there are poor single parents, working adults and those with young families......but poverty to me is a completely different thing entirely.
I don't think pensioners hog the poor bracket as they once did.
Noticed a concession was almost 2/3rds the price of an adult tic at Morton....a bit more like it but gap should continue to narrow.

Free bus travel for over sixties is an entitlement not a benefit - or it is now that I qualify for it. Previously it was a scandal. I don't need free bus travel but I'll take it same as I'll take anything anyone ever gives me for free. And I'll use it before someone with an actual clue takes it away from me.
Not only do I not agree that drug addiction should be considered a disability I'm disgusted that it's actually even considered a disease. In my demented universe, where everything is seen down the line for what it is and dead straight on, it's a lifestyle choice. In most cases nobody forces an addict to take that first hit, they consciously choose to take it.
Please note I said 'in most cases', obviously there are exceptions that prove every rule.
