Now to get back on the topic.
Another two Calmac ferries are currently out of action due to engine faults.
The MV Lord of the Isles which operates on the Calmac Mallaig to Lochboisdale ferry route has been withdrawn from service whilst engineers work to fix the problem.
Meanwhile the MV Hebridean Isles which operates on the Calmac Kennacraig to Islay has been out of action since 9.45am yesterday (Wednesday 24th August 2022).
Calmac engineers have tried to fix the problem with no success.
It is now reported on the Calmac website that spare parts have been ordered and the MV Hebridean Isles will be out of action until at least this Sunday 28th August 2022.
