Wanted gone end of last season. Given him the benefit of the doubt this season. Done ok in regards himself as to where he had got Notts but with the player calibre at his disposal as club not good enough & the home performances, well the less said the better.
Can't be arsed to count up the posts' opinions but would say it's Tata Stewie by about 9 to 1. You know it makes sense, Rodney.

About where I am at the minute, many posters seem to think that there's a queue of experienced, successful managers just begging to have a go at the job, I very much doubt it in fact it could well be that Maynard was the most experienced manager available when Williams left. I certainly believe that he needs some good people backing him up but he has done a reasonable job under difficult circumstances this season & is gradually gaining in experience. If there is a outstanding candidate that the owners have in mind then fair enough but if it's going to be another unknown lucky dip the old saying " be careful what you wish for" springs to mind. LW had no history of being a BT engineer or PE teacher and his only previous senior management role was at Swindon which he oversaw them being relegated.
I think the fact he came over more bullish got fans onside and after a slow start we started winning in a fairly poor league and people were then totally behind him. Fast forward his career and Swansea fans say he only won stuff in the NL, out of his depth and couldn?t motive anyone.
