Can't be arsed to count up the posts' opinions but would say it's Tata Stewie by about 9 to 1. You know it makes sense, Rodney.

Out for me. Gob smacked when appointed tbh.
Wanted gone end of last season. Given him the benefit of the doubt this season. Done ok in regards himself as to where he had got Notts but with the player calibre at his disposal as club not good enough & the home performances, well the less said the better.

Not the right time for the poll lets wait until the end of the season and take stock. For now in.
I think if Maynard takes us into the play-offs then his job is pretty safe going forward into next season. If we somehow managed to finish outside the play-off zone then the owners might well consider his position, but a play-off place is a clear and tangible improvement on last season, whatever questions may still exist around style and entertainment value.
I'm sure the owners won't take any notice of polls on a forum, and are laughing at the idea that people want a change this late in the season. Don't be surprised if he's still here next season
About where I am at the minute, many posters seem to think that there's a queue of experienced, successful managers just begging to have a go at the job, I very much doubt it in fact it could well be that Maynard was the most experienced manager available when Williams left. I certainly believe that he needs some good people backing him up but he has done a reasonable job under difficult circumstances this season & is gradually gaining in experience. If there is a outstanding candidate that the owners have in mind then fair enough but if it's going to be another unknown lucky dip the old saying " be careful what you wish for" springs to mind. Exactly any experienced EFL manager we get will probably have more bad spells than probably good on their CV else they wouldn?t be applying for jobs in L2.
I think a lot of fans perception of SM was made at the start, part time NL coach, bt engineer regardless of keeping Wealdstone in the league being only one of 2 or 3 part time teams in the league.
Same with IB, PE teacher regardless that he had done some good jobs in Scandinavia.
LW had no history of being a BT engineer or PE teacher and his only previous senior management role was at Swindon which he oversaw them being relegated.
I think the fact he came over more bullish got fans onside and after a slow start we started winning in a fairly poor league and people were then totally behind him. Fast forward his career and Swansea fans say he only won stuff in the NL, out of his depth and couldn?t motive anyone.
Not sure why my point is 😂, but merely an observation I?ve been thing about the last couple of days😂
