Phucking brilliant news. Should easily slot right in to Jim's three at the back beside KK and Iovu.

Was always good in the air and a good finisher. Hopefully still has enough pace to make an impact for us. Heart of lion unlike the imposter Watters
Davie Dodds next
I'm in two minds about the Johnny Russell signing.
On one hand a bit excited by it , a great player for United and will give the fans a bit of a boost initially and all the talk I've seen in the press is how great an addition it will be so maybe that will turn out to be the case .
The reality is though time stops for no man , Johnny's 35 years of age, was released by Sporting Kansas for a reason before not exactly setting the heather on fire at his last club Real Salt lake who are , lets be honest here , a mediocre side in a mediocre league. Add in to the equation he hasn't kicked a ball since November last year if the Twa teams podcast is to be believed ,and i just have a bit of a concern this may turn out to be a bit of flop and turn out to be a desperate signing by a manger looking to find a quick fix to a season that has not been anywhere near what it should have been .
Be interested to find out if I'm alone in thinking this or do most think this is a good signing ?
Always find it interesting to hear United fans talking about mediocre teams in mediocre leagues when talking about other teams or leagues. The truth is mediocre is still a level above us
Its low risk. if it works good if he is past it we have an experienced player who can useful behind the scenes. We will soon find out how fit he is. Initially I would expect him to be someone to bring off the bench. Lets be honest he cant be any less effective than max Watters.
Welcome home Johnny boy. 🖤🧡
As mentioned even if he is half the player he was first time round he will still be better than watters and at the moment saps.
