Not sure about that Chris. I think Caolan Lavery from the Wendies would be a cracking signing for us and he's available.
He doesn't get in their side quite simply because they've got better (and more expensive) options but I think he'd walk into our team.
That's my point tho they have better players than him but we need better players than them that's how clubs like us make money developing talent and selling them on for crazy prices we can't do that with players who are already in championship.Quote:

Wednesday paid millions for Hooper and Fletcher and also have Jaoa and Nuhiu as options.
We obviously can't compete with their outlay but a player like Lavery would fit our profile, plus he's only 23 and could develop into a reliable Championship striker given the right opportunities and coaching.
Just a thought.
