Not sure about that Chris. I think Caolan Lavery from the Wendies would be a cracking signing for us and he's available.
He doesn't get in their side quite simply because they've got better (and more expensive) options but I think he'd walk into our team.

That's my point tho they have better players than him but we need better players than them that's how clubs like us make money developing talent and selling them on for crazy prices we can't do that with players who are already in championship.

Look at Pringle lafonder and revel ever since they left us they are sat on bench because they are not as good as players who are in first team. And we need better not almost as good but better and no you don't have to spend millions to get them their are players like vardy everywhere who are not getting a sniff

Wednesday paid millions for Hooper and Fletcher and also have Jaoa and Nuhiu as options.
We obviously can't compete with their outlay but a player like Lavery would fit our profile, plus he's only 23 and could develop into a reliable Championship striker given the right opportunities and coaching.
    Just a thought.

If Ward gets injured and let's face it that's always a possibility, we are in a mess with only Yates as a recognised front man. Weeks have gone and still no striker? Beggars belief!!!

Halford would fill but we'll have some signed shortly anyway. TS has explained the situation.

Caolon Lavery can't see him as a championship player. Been on loan in the lower leagues, not exactly shone in them.

If this is true so what?

The player either wanted to come or he didn't .

It baffles me how agents don't give the club a rough idea of what they're after before they fly in from Sweden to discuss, doesn't make sense!

He may come back and change his mind but last thing to happen was agent not budging saying he was taking his client home
