I've just had a look at the last few seasons & I reckon 28/10/2014 in the league cup was the last time we put out 2 proper full backs on their correct sides at the same time (Gamboa & Davidson)

Pocco was a defender who couldn't defend,useless in the air and no positional sense but very decent coming forward.
I don't disagree mate but we are talking about the left back position. Brunt is a better footballer, no question. I have no problem and the utmost respect for him. But he is not a left back he cannot tackle. If Brunt plays there you have to have McClean in front of him just to cover. He has done an adequate job there though.Quote:
