We had a natural full back in Pocco but unfortunately he made one mistake.

Did he really, you weren't at the cup game then, where he made 2.

And nobody in the prem took him when he was freebie this summer.

Do you think you'll ever post a comment which isn't either a direct or indirect attack on TP?

He was better than no left back though wasn't he?
And yes I was at the cup game. I was also at the Utd game where he put it on a plate for Rondon.
When he does something positive i'll post something positive. When I enjoy what i'm seeing i'll tell ya. And i'll tell you i'm wrong. My comments are no more negative than him.
I had seen enough of Pocognoli to know he is a better left back than Brunt or Nyom.

Just think if we get Gibbs we could see the novelty of a TP side with a Lb at LB and a RB at RB!!!

I've just had a look at the last few seasons & I reckon 28/10/2014 in the league cup was the last time we put out 2 proper full backs on their correct sides at the same time (Gamboa & Davidson)

Since the we have had at RB
    Wisdom - CB
    Chris Baird - DM
    Dawson - CB
    Chester - CB
    Nyom - RB!!!

    And at LB
    Baird - DM
    Lescott - CB
    Brunt - LM
    Evans - a CB
    Dawson - CB
    Chester - CB
Galloway - ok he was a LB I suppose
    Nyom - RB
    Marc Wilson - CB

With respect mate that is total bollox.

Nyom is a terrific athlete with good attributes and Brunt is a Rolls Royce of a player compared to Pocco.

Pocco was a defender who couldn't defend, useless in the air and no positional sense but very decent coming forward.

I don't disagree mate but we are talking about the left back position. Brunt is a better footballer, no question. I have no problem and the utmost respect for him. But he is not a left back he cannot tackle. If Brunt plays there you have to have McClean in front of him just to cover. He has done an adequate job there though.
Nyom is a right back who should be played at right back and is a better right back than Dawson.
I stand by what I said. All about opinions mate. However dismissing someone elses as total bollox is not really showing due respect is it?

Opinions opinions. I thought Poco was poor and a liability! Whether some like Pulis or not - the guy is not stupid!

PS - what did Poco prove when he left us? Feck all!

I bow to your better judgement.

No mate I wouldn't call anyone who payed well over £20m for Chester. Macmanaman and Rondon stupid. Or someone who if they'd have waited a few weeks wouldn't have to give Palace millions back.

Just think mate all being well after Thursday he'll have no excuses. This scintillating football will magically appear as he will have his own squad, players of better quality. Played in their correct positions. We wouldn't have signed them otherwise. He'll have nowhere to hide. No more "he's getting the best out of what he's got"
I can't wait and to be honest I am quite positive about the signings. Yes you read that last bit right I am positive about them. But please Nyom at right back not Dawson.
