Well, as DS is a fully fledged Villa fan, then surely he would be reading the highly considered and sensible opinions of the fans on the number one Villa forum, TD? O:) Wouldn't he? ;D Giggles.
Like many that have come before him - we'd turn a great player into an average one!
Defensively we have to hit the ground running but that can only happen if the midfield retain possession with composure and precise passing. That's far likelier a prospect behind closed doors.

Over 2 wks since this thread started, and every day I can feel my enthusiasm and confidence drain from my body. Here’s hoping that Wilder and Sharp’s over confidence (they’re Barca now, don’t you know) comes back and bites em on the arse. Can’t see it, but it would be sweet.
As for Bale?????? I do remember Bongo mentioning signing him a while back, in between one of his many late night, hallucinogenic (alleged) rants, for MON and Gabby to return.
