I remember that disaster well. I was 17 at the time and starting to take an interest in airplanes. It was in 1967 and planes usually landed in Perpignon to refuel. Whilst on the approach, this plane crashed into the Pyrenees killing everyone on board. An inquiry deduced that a faulty heater in the cockpit had released carbon monoxide and disorientated the pilots.
