The same scheduled flight a couple of months before crashed into a mountain with no survivors. You can read about it on Wiki titled the Pyrenees air disaster.
I remember that disaster well. I was 17 at the time and starting to take an interest in airplanes. It was in 1967 and planes usually landed in Perpignon to refuel. Whilst on the approach, this plane crashed into the Pyrenees killing everyone on board. An inquiry deduced that a faulty heater in the cockpit had released carbon monoxide and disorientated the pilots.

My first ever time flying was from Elmdon in 1965. It was to Guernsey in a Viscount. We had to walk across the tarmac to get to it. I am sure of the year.

We flew to Jersey for a fortnight in 1962, but from Bournemouth. The plane only flew at 7,000ft, it was like looking down at a model village. I can still remember watching the fishing boats in the channel.

However I can also add 2 others off the top of my head, both who had cricket connections, namely the County ground at Northampton and also Feethams at Darlington.
    I forgot West Ham.
