Alf Garnet wouldve given you a bigger *******ing then anyone if he knew you were disrespecting the dead in the way you did. People can have opinions of course, but there is a time and a place. A commemoration thread is neither of those for critisism.
Andrew Jenkins was kind and generous. I am sure he would not mind your misstep if you were to learn from it, so make sure you do. Lets try and get back to having those British values (respect, fair play, hard work, manners etc) that are increasingly vanishing from society
