Newcastle officials held a series of talks with their counterparts in Frankfurt, and had been willing to allow Osula to conduct personal talks with the Bundesliga side.
However, discussions were called off when an agreement could not be reached and the Danish youngster will now remain on Tyneside.
Osula, who started Newcastle's weekend draw with Leeds United, will provide attacking competition for new signings Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa.

That said, its good we didnt sell if we couldnt get a replacment/better player in.
