Good deal but still leaving squad short. A third backup striker would be handy!

    Do we though?

Only started a game when we had no choices and in total minutes maybe played 3 games in total in the time he has been here.

With Woltemade, Wissa and non-striker Gordon preferred over him… I’d argue we don’t.

Love the attitude and energy of the lad, a move will be good for his career, if anything I could only see a future as a re-invented Big Joe in the future at best… think it’s a win win for all parties if he goes… he needs games to develop and he wouldn’t get them here.

If this means we sneak one more player in this window, or have funds for a future deal… it’s best all round if he moves on.

I don't like the idea of not having a third striker, especially with Wissa going to AFCON in December. That being said, 30 million is a fanstic fee and its nice to see us put a buyback in there. If we somehow use this to bring in one more, that's a good window.

Great fee. I think theres a player in there and fantastic to see a biyback clause but fk me, we do need a 3rd forward.

We might have overpaid for Wissa, but if someone told me it is Osula plus 25 mln, I?d be happy

    Deal is off.

We've decided to keep him for the first part of the season as cover.

I reckon that he goes in January after the AFCON has finished and Wissa comes back.

If we could get ?28.5 million for him that would be fantastic business again by the club.

Is he staying because we missed out on another striker? 🤔

Got someone in mind for Jan / Next summer?

Second time of trying, so excuse any near duplicate.

He?ll play f**k all games, unless we are missing Woltemade, Wissa, Gordon, the tea lady, to play up front? he?s going to struggle to even make the bench when most players are fit.

Can?t see the same amount being offered again in a hurry, unless it another last gasp deadline day deal.
