Parkers starting team selections and his poor substitutions are strange at the best, it is not hard to see why his previous managerial experiences in the EPL have ended badly for him, and it seems this season is not going to be any different.
Surely Alan Pace can see what happend in the past is certainly going to happen again if action is not take before the January transfer window opens. Please do not let Parker deal with this transfer window and waste more money.
Rob Jones is without a shadow of a doubt the worst referee in the EPL. I absolutely believe he tipped tonight's game firmly in the favour of NUFC. He needs binning.Quote:

Games when he looks like the only creative spark or chance we have of producing something in a game - that is obviously a failing but then when he does play him his tactics afford the team to stand and Watch to see if Edwards can do it on his own or lose possession ( that is unforgivable as a management trait - we are meant to be fighting for our lives and larger pay packets - not leaving others to do the job.).

Players who play / played well in previous game dropped following game - what does that do to a person ?
Once happened to me in a county cup game against higher leagues opposition and I got Mom so much so that opposing team asked for my number with a view to play for them - the following Saturday I was benched for league game - I asked why the manger couldnt answer - I never played for him again
The moral is it dented my confidence or affected me so it will affect the likes of Humphreys even though its waged and a job.
Above all of that and its relevant Parker does not know his best 11 and he doesnt know how to set them up - or he thinks he does know and Ill be brutally honest hes wrong.
When we dont concentrate and concede shabby goals and players just stand and admire while others have their hearts bursting out of their chests - the man whos meant to be steering our ship has lost his compass.
Yesterday was a chalk and cheese job. The 1st 10 minutes were a disaster as was the last 5, and the in-between we played well.
Goals conceded 1&3 were the fault of Ekdal, it was the Joelinton goal that gave me the most anxiety. Ekdal conceeds these type of goals every time he plays, he either lets his opponent get across him, doesn't get close or just switches off
Like Army says its criminal that our most creative player Edwards, has been fit and only started 2 games this season, it says it all really
Anyother club in our position would have sacked Parker 3 or 4 games a go, but our lot do nothing. I really would like to know wtf is going on down there. Once again due to their lack of action they are making a right proper mess of this Premier league season.
I would love to know who is actually in charge of the club and is allowing Parker to blow our chance of a second consecutive season in the EPL. Bringing Barnes and Tresor on in the 88th was pfhucking laughable. :mad:

Absolutely ridiculous no-call for the second goal. Where were VAR when we need them? Can't agree with you more Army. This reluctance to play the ball forward and early is bonkers. It looks good when we knock the ball about in midfield for a few minutes but it gets us nowhere and allows their defence to get in position. Yes, why has it taken 16 or so games to realise Edwards deserves to start.

Alf has a point though, we had good spells but finishing is poor. Something that could be improved with practice.
