Bruno knew where it was because he pushed our player in the back but we don't get free kicks for that and the ref let them have the goal. Terrible decision.
Edwards was held back twice by Tonali ---no free kicks. Jolinton gets tugged back on the edge of our box by Fiorentino ---free kick.
Simple decisions not given knock the stuffing out of a team and moreso when they are struggling.
I no longer understand the Laws of the Game or their interpretation and that is after playing and officiating at semi-pro level for well over 50 years!

After the first 10 minute ****show we played half decent.Second half the same until JBL cam on for Tchauma. Then we looked like the Burnley we know under Cardy.
JBL and Ekdal could not get in a VK team yet Cardy uses them all the time.Ekdal would not get in a Championship squad. He is a complete liability.
Parker is way past his sell by date now.Time to go.

That push in the back was so obvious-as you are the oracle Sub, why was it not given as a foul?

What’s the point of giving a team a two goal lead, then you come on here telling me , and everyone else, they played well, when we lose 1-3, with the final goal of the game , something you’d see at Townley Park on a Sunday morning ? I’d rather see us play s•••e and win 1-0 , and move up the table. Football is a results business, and come the first week of May , you are judged by your league position, not how well you have played. That’s the harsh reality of the game we all love.
Come back on here at the end of the season and tell everyone how well we played. You will embarrass yourself even further than you are now.

In the first 7 minutes our defence looked like they had never played together.

From then until our first substitution we played very well showing some backbone and skill.

Then he decides to replace Tchaouna with Bruun Larson, a player who runs into trouble rather than take on his man or pass to a team mate.

The second substitutions replacing Ugochukwo and Florentino with Barnes and Tressor virtually surrended mid-field to Newcastle.

Their third goal was even worst than schoolboy football, does Dubravka and Ekdal know a common language.

As I said "..........I no longer understand the Laws of the Game or their interpretation and that is after playing and officiating at semi-pro level for well over 50 years!"
I certainly do not understand Rob Jones's interpretation of the Laws after his performance at Leeds a few years ago in his first PL game and his performance at Nottingham Forest in our game there.

Fiorentino was cautioned for his slight tug on Jolinton, however, later in the game, Jolinton, who had already been booked, commits a cynical trip to stop our attack and does not get a second yellow. That is the second consecutive game with Jonesi n the middle that he has not issued second yellows to players. I have just given up trying to understand what is going on at the top level and I am friends with a top referee.
We don't discuss things any more because it is not fair to him.

    Here goes Mal.

We played and showed a bit of heart I think tonight ( I’m just back now ) however switched off for their goals and offered them a two goal lead when we struggle to score 1 never mind 3.

Questions to be asked for me.

Why drop Humphrey’s when he’d played well

Why has Edwards been on the bench ( sometimes unused until the 19 the game.

Why is Hannibal on the bench every week same as above

Why does Parker consistently pick certain players

Why do we keep giving teams starts and the. Wander why we can’t get back
    In the game

Where was Fleming ? ( is he injured or has Cardy pissed him off ).

Why. Do we persist in a 5 starting formation
It showed on stats as 4-3-3 but we played 5 and left Broja running on his own.

Why do we stand and watch / admire passes or runs without supporting our team mates it’s school boy

Why do we not play a creative midfield man when it’s crying out for one - the two central boys were big strong but don’t know how to create.

Why oh why do we persist in playing football in front of the opposition’s defensive line instead of getting runners in behind or in the channels - they came today a team who have struggled away from home and scoring goals and their first thought was get at our back line in between back and wide men - I’m not the manager but when I watch it against us every week movement and timed runs etc I’m sure I’d think we should try that.

He has to go I’m afraid - I do believe they really tried to save his job tonight
