Possibly not necessary at the moment Because, as you say, your immunity will have been boosted because you contracted the virus recently.
But, according to the medical profession, this immunity diminishes over a few months.
So around the time the Millers achieve promotion it might be worth thinking about boosting your immune system again via a booster jab.
Obviously those people who are scared of needles and read crackpot websites will need to find another way to protect themselves. Vitamin B perhaps
Pandemic over? Care to explain why then ICU bed occupation is still at >100% in most areas here, a level that prior to Covid coming on the scene had never been seen? Are you saying they are putting mildly poorly people into intensive care beds just to make the numbers look 'good'? If they are they need to stop it because many of them are only making it out of there in a wooden box.
I find Dr John Campbell'youtube daily talks very useful, clear and informative. He discussed a paper today from america discussing the natural immunity and concluded very little value in getting booster of you've had omicron as natural immunity provides just as good protection.
I was talking about this country, don't know everything that's going on over there but they're certainly not above fiddling the figures.

Well the definition of a pandemic isn't UK only and although the US and World show a similar pattern, at 2000+/8000+ deaths per day I'd say it's far from over.

Certainly not over, whilst there are still stupid, selfish people about that won’t get vaccinated or follow the rules then the virus will thrive.
