re: Shameful
READING EVERYTHING JUST SAID - VIGURS - LAZY, AINSWORTH PLAYS PART OF A GAME, REID'S CLOSE CONTROL, MCMANUS' POSITIONING,ANGOL'S DEFENSIVE ABILITIES AND THE GENERAL LOW STANDARD OF FITNESS OF THE TEAM ONLY SHOW ONE THING - MCCALL MUST BE NEGLECTING HIS DUTIES!!!! FOR GOD'S SAKE HOW LONG CAN WE LET THIS PRETENDER CONTINUE? HE INHERITED A GOOD TEAM AND WHEN THEY LEFT THE PLAYERS HE BROUGHT IN EG - VIGURS, AINSWORTH ARE LAZY AS HELL - GET THEM OUT! THE GOALKEEPERS MAY HAVE BEEN SCOUTED BY MARSHALL BUT MCCALL IS MANAGER AND THEREFORE HAS THE FINAL SAY - THERE MUST HAVE BEEN BETTER WITHIN OUR PRICE RANGE THAN THE TWO WE HAVE - ALEXANDER FOR A START WENT TO BANKRUPT TEAM IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP! HE IS FRIENDS WITH MARK MCGHEE AT SCOTLAND LEVEL - MCGHEE HAD THE FITTEST MOTHERWELL TEAM IN YEARS - WHY NOT SPEAK TO HIM. HE HAD THE MOTHERWELL PLAYERS ON DOUBLE SESSIONS SIX DAYS A WEEK - AND IT SHOWED. THEY WERE FASTER, LASTED FULL GAMES AND THEIR FOOTBALL (ESPECIALLY IN HIS FIRST SEASON) WAS THE B

Is your caps lock broken or something? Lol.
I'm not a fan of McCall either and have serious concerns over where we are headed but as for bring back Mark McGhee? No chance. He was indeed superb for us in his first season and was probably Boyle's best managerial appointment, certainly at the time but his second season was poor and his attitude toward the club was disgraceful. He publically whored himself for every job going and made it clear that he saw us as nothing more than a stepping stone, not to mention being a Celtic loving rent a quote. That just the type we don't need at Fir Park as we need to rid ourselves of this "small club, stepping stone" syndrome and we certainly don't need someone who has no commitment or respect for us as a club.

re: Shameful
Don't worry LSM I'm not in favour of a return to Fir Park for Mark McGhee! I too remember his behaviour when in charge. I also remember how fit the team was at the time and the superb football we played in his first season in charge. I know we had different players then - but the principle of fitness first made them faster and more able to show the natural abilities they had during games. In 40 years I have never seen a Well team play better than the midweek game against Hibs at Easter Road - I believe we won 4-1 or 4-2 going on 24-1. They were running past the Hibs players as if they weren't there. Double sessions six days a week worked - and proved fitness/speed was priority. This combined with good coaching is the best combination - we do not have this with McCall and his team - so I see no reason to persist with him - we need to stop the rot!!!!!
