NZ won the 2nd Test this afternoon and the series, justifiably for me, finished 1.1...I fear it will be a long summer when the Ashes get underway next month. B)

I'm going to the first Ashes test match. Got a ticket for day 3 on the Friday.

Didn't realise that TTA was a masochist.

It'll either be Australia passing the 500 mark, or England replying to a large score being ritually humiliated by Bodyline Bowling of the most vicious variety, now euphemistically called short of a length in-swingers.

Edgbaston can be a great ground for atmos. Have spent many good times there. Ashes '85 springs to mind.

I'm going there for the 3rd day of the Ashes Test then staying the night in Brum. Not been before and looking forward to it.
