I read more of his articles so I understand exactly where he is coming from.
Not sure why you think I would have 'papal' specs on since as you are well aware, I am an avowed atheist and take a dim view of people who believe in gods...
However, be that as it may, I am not sure what point you are trying to make.
There is a number - 569 - which is the number of crimes committed where there was an element of religious aggravation.
Of that 569, more than half were derogatory towards the Catholic church and less than a quarter towards Protestantism.
There is no way to change these numbers or to make them say anything other than what they say.
There is no information as to the religion of either the perpetrators or the victims, simply as to the nature of the offence.
Still, I will ask that you explain your point to me. Having re-read this utter cretin's pish several times, it still does not say anything other than the fact that over half the crimes recorded with an element of religious aggravation were directed at the Catholic church, and less than half were directed against Protestantism.
