Yep - he is worth what the seller wants. No people are 'worth' money in this sense, but footballers are products in a market, and the logic that follows is that the seller estimates the worth of the asset, and then demands a price. That doesn't mean the price is fair or not above what the market is currently producing, but it is the prerogative of the seller (owner) to request what he/she demands financially - no one is forced to buy if they don't like the price.Quote:
