Just to be clear, I wasn't advocating that Farke goes before seasons end, current form would suggest that's not a good move. But, if we survive Frank would be a marked improvement in terms of both experience in the PL and squad/player managementQuote:

Started thinking about who I'd rather have as our coach of the current Prem coaches. When I really drilled it down it's nowhere near the number it might seem.
The villa coach, The bournemouth coach and Glasner really the only ones that seem like they might be better fits and even that's a toss up.
Farke messes up like any coach does but with the notable exception of Arsenal he's largely had our team more than ready to go since the Citeh turning point game. Don't care for the sub delays and the inconsistency from half to half but I never feel we are not ready to go. Something that used to plague us regularly it seemed like.
I think the FA cup game will be a real barometer.
What does it matter how we got to how we are playing now. Most managers get lucky somewhere and its the now that is important. And we are actually starting to play like when we were in Championship with big overloads down the wing. If we had a better finisher than Bamford we would have been far more successful than we were.Quote:

WTF your reference to Sunderland is interesting. Fair play to them they have been the surprise of the season, but are slowly dropping down the league (momentum is everything). Next season clubs are allowed to spend 85% or ifin Europe 70% of turnover. Newly promoted clubs tend to spend more due to lower turnover in previous season/s Currently Leeds are on 92%, Sunderland are at 100%
He's said that he will take the game seriously but won't risk some players as PL survival is the priority, the Cup is just a bonus until we cement ourselves to PL.Quote:

For the most part the sentiments regarding player commitment apply to the whole season and had they been coached so as to play as they have post the City match we wouldn't be even remotely at risk of relegation. The squad hasn't changed, neither has their commitment.
And "if you don't try in training or have some indiscipline your gone"? So Tanaka, Gnonto, Piroe have all been guilty of being lazy or ill-disciplined? Others could be added to that list. Farke has ALWAYS played (literally), favourites.
And how you can justify the statement regarding Frank "losing the dressing room", just because he had some prima donnas that aren't there any more? Brentford finished 10th, unlucky not to finish higher but never at any risk of descending like those around us now. Most would acknowledge that under Frank they have punched way above their weight, would that we were doing likewise.
We're not going to agree. Let's just hope, if we survive and the rumours about Frank and Crystal Palace, tgat we live to regret not going for what I at least believe would have been a Farke upgrade.

I do think the second year in the prem is very hard and the "sophomore jinx" could be real with us.
However, our squad plays hard for him and he'll have more money that MB ever had
