I have just realised we are on 3 home defeats on the bounce.
What was the home defeats in a row record he tried so hard to beat last season. I think it was 5.
A defeat in the home leg next week coupled with more negligence from the owners could see him equal the record twice in 18 months on opening day next season!
Yet still some defend him.
Utterly incomprehensible.
Funnily enough, we had as many shots on target as Doncaster (4 each) and more shots in total (11 to their 10). But the most damning stat (I wouldn’t say the scoreline, because 2-1 massively flattered us) was in big chances created - 5 for them; just 1 for us. We’re just not creating much - 1 big chance against Cheltenham (with the goal coming from a defensive blunder) and 1 big chance against Salford. We’re slow, predictable and far too static.Quote:

What have you seen that makes him a good coach ? A good coach is pro-active, and always looking for ways to improve results. We dont have, or have not seen any of those qualities with Maynard.. Perhaps you have arrived at your conclusion by listening to his after match reports. Only those who are gullible would believe that bullsh*tQuote:

No doubt we have dropped off in the last three months, especially at home. Clearly, he has room to improve and things to learn. Yesterday was thoroughly disappointing, but Whitaker being outmuscled and Jones pulling out of a tackle cost us both goals.
Maynard is not Pep, but he also is not the worst appointment in football history. He has spent half a season with a depleted backroom staff and one of his most creative forces was not adequately replaced.
I think a voice or two from outside the Radar bubble would do him the world of good.
A good coach does not lose 14 games at home in 18 months... As for dominating games at home, It says it all when we have 70% possession with just 2 or 3 shots on goal.. Thats been the trend all season. A good coach would have identified the problem and done something about it. Not us, he just blurts on about the players hurting bla bla bla.Quote:

Confidence is also huge a couple of defeats can turn into a slippery slope look at Arsenal now.
You can be a good coach like Pep/Arteta as an example but at times not much you can do if your players arent able to perform plus these two like to jump about like loons too so cant throw hands in pockets jibe either !
As the saying goes its better to be a lucky coach than a good one.
