Normally, the manager has a say at least in who he wants to work with, contacts he's made in the game (often ex-colleagues from playing days - Allardyce and Brazil spring to mind as team mates at Preston). Seems Maynard will have no say whatsoever and if they intend to keep him on then most coaches out there are likely to be more experienced than him in terms of playing career, unless we're doing another dip deep into non-league.
What are you on about? Why is that a wind up? I stand by my comments and talk of sacking a head coach when in March and in a play off position is silly even after the poor performance from the team on Saturday.

Some might think the club is rudderless but the supporters sat navs and mobile phones certainly were working and did the job with over 1200 at Wimbledon for a televised game. So maybe not all the enthusiasm has died as is being portrayed

Still over 1200 paid one of the highest ticket prices in the division to travel a long way to see a game they could have watched on TV. I would suggest that?s impressive in anybody?s books. I remember when we used to average less than half that at away games
