A surprising original post and some interesting responses.

We are definitely short staffed behind the scenes as the departures show. We know the owners are proactive and won?t rush things so not surprised they were perhaps caught about by Mongague?s exit. He?s been integral to Notts and football radar so not easy to replace, not to be rushed.

The coaches leaving, again unexpected but easier to replace especially in short term to help out. Whether Maynard?s lack of experience as a head coach means he doesn?t have the contacts an older experienced manager would have to find a quick replacement I don?t know.

I agree with KC and OP any ideas of sacking is silly but a review is essential and very likely.

Rudderless at present or not we are in the best hands we?ve been in for decades and they always have a plan. As mentioned they speak only when it?s needed not when demanded by some fans to squash speculation and rumours they read online. Much prefer too little than too much talk from the owners.

As for enthusiasm needing a lift. Over 1200 travelling to south west london for a 12:30 kick off that?s on TV. That?s enthusiasm levels as a Notts fan I?m not used to

I think the enthusiasm clearly disintegrated at the full time time whistle, with a resounding chorus of booing.. Plus many left at half time...You will soon get used to that if the performances and results dont rapidly improve..
