While Canada hasn?t officially backed out of our commitment, we have scrapped the carbon tax. This would make it near certain that we won?t reach our target.

Slightly connected to this thread, with regards to a complete turnaround with how the world is changing what has been brought in in the last few years, the English FA have announced that only biological females (or women with wombs as some prefer to call them) can now play in women's football.

The charity, Sporting Chance, is offering free therapy to help those affected by this decision, cope with any trauma.


I actually agree with David Triesman (rather apt name) on this, that there should be an inquiry into how the FA promoted the decision to include non-women into women's football in the first place - were they forced by FIFA to do this?

It's sad that feminism came so far only for fear of trans people to turn the clock straight back to women-harming definitions like this.

I know of someone who had had a hysterectomy who likes to play football. Very sad some would exclude her like this.

At a policy level, probably not (though give it time - we're already seeing shifts in policy way beyond the UKSC ruling). At a good kicking to not do it again level? Sadly, yes.
