With Newcastle losing 3-0, it looks like 8th is guaranteed. I'm happy with that regardless of what our friends from the east think.

If you'd offered me 8th at the start of the season i would have snatched your hand off.
We've been in a 2 team league with Newcastle for the last 3 months or so, quite how they were above us before their woeful performance at St Marys is very puzzling but considering the departure of Cabaye and no replacement in January their season was effectively over then.
It wouldn't surprise me if AP jumped ship in the summer and returned to West Ham, stranger things have happened

I was watching them with my brother a few months back and even muttered under my breath ' the c*nts are quite good' to him.
