Unlike one or 2 on here I like Burnley as a club, and wish you well this season apart from when you come to ours, and on that showing tonight you are worthy to be top of the league at this time. The sending off changed the momentum of the game and whilst some say it was a poor decision, Bramall had no need to go and challenge like that when on a yellow already and with the home crowd baying, as would we have, there was only one decision coming.
Our aim from game one was survival, and even though we lost tonight, it shows we have the mentality to at least make a game of it against the really bigger teams at this level and should give us confidence to push on and make a fight of it. All in all a frustrating night but also one that should help us believe that we deserve to be here. UTM

I don't blame refs opposing manager. Pointless it's gone. Regroup Saturday I'd like to see McCart on left of the back 3 like Brin says let's see what he can do.

Suicide again. Needless penalty at Blackburn. Two silly fouls today. Might have held out for at least a point with eleven men.
Cheating, diving, time wasting is now all part of the game, a legacy of the must win culture in the game. It won't change any time soon.
Burnley are an excellent side, another night it might have been a hammering. Just wish we could step up against the average teams in this league instead of over performing at the best clubs.

Good Post Ronners. Pretty much sums it up. I felt confident until the sending off and even felt we could pick them off again on the break as clearly their defence is their wrap point. But Bramall deciding to go through, not that he did loads wrong, played right into their hands and showed his naivety. Real shame for him as he's looked much stronger in last couple of games.

Gutting, but a performance to take heart from.

Hey even I thought VK's Burnsley were very lucky tonight!.

Gutted for the lads and I'm convinced that with ten men we would have won this match.From the throw in that was wrongly given, they get the winner in the hundreth minute.Very proud of the lads and we are more than capable of comfortably staying in this division.

Hey up Acido,who was our Miller mate that used to post on England mad was it Ned?

Short highlights obviously don't tell the full story of the full 110 minutes but it certainly looks like the refereeing Gods were against us. Where's VAR when we need it for 2 key moments? Firstly the sending off, it merited an Academy Award for the dive and subsequent 3 rolls but certainly not a yellow card. Secondly the winning goal, it was close but the goal scorer was offside and in addition to scoring he was certainly in the Viking's line of vision for the shot that he spilled.

On to Saturday where I'd like to be able to say our luck (a.k.a. the referee) can't be as bad but looking at who we are playing it probably will be.
