You could well be right with that. Either way, it needs resolving this transfer window.

Killip couldn't do anything about their 2 goals and let's be honest he is the most experienced goalie we have and had a good game! Anouncing Slonika before the game was p1ss poor!
I really fear for us this season, unless there is real quality brought in soon up front, looking at how the lesser teams in this league have strengthened we could end up in a relegation battle.
I’ve posted on this thread and can not see those posts.
I’m wondering if the posts are being blocked.
Anyone else having this problem?
Yesterday brought into focus the hoard must do the one thing they don’t want to do.
Put their hands in their pockets take out the cheque book and spend sone Money.
They want championship football
We want championship football.
We’re heading for leg 2 football.
Don’t break the bank or break the rules but for gods sake do something and quickly.
After conceding the 2 early goals we got back into the game with some attractive footy and I thought at 1-2 we could and should have gone on to win the game. But as had been said above and for weeks now we are lacking quality up front.
Really need to offload Styles for whatever we can say 600k and get a striker signed who knows how to score goals.
Lee Gregory gave us a classic example of what a good striker does best, something we just don't have.
Only one game gone all to play for.
I'm always puzzled by the complete naivety of the current owners Olias .
First of all and I take the point at least one significant contributor won't agree with this but getting taken in initially by Lee and Conway doesn't project a good look no matter how you dress it up .
I'd have thought these people would have had a bit more oil in their lamp given that most people with significant wealth can spot a couple of chancers from 100 miles away .
However we are where we are and history cannot be changed .
One recurring theme however does persist , no matter how many mistakes are made nobody seems to learn from them .
This season looks a particular strong league one , significantly stronger than last season and to have any sort of crack at getting promoted in all probability you'd need a squad as good as Daniel Stendel had and capable of getting at least 94 points .
That team had Moore and Woodrow up top , we currently have Cosgrove and Watters .
We had Pinnock and Lindsay at the back , you'd have to be widely optimistic to believe the current defence is anywhere near that level .
Luca could possibly challenge Mowatt as equally good but you'd be struggling to find anyone else currently who'd have got a shirt in Stendel's team .
That team Stendel had is the benchmark in my opinion , I'd suggest we are somewhat short , to say the least .
As previously said - no matter what happens now in the transfer window, expect a slow start - as new players brought in could struggle to get up to speed.
But not is all lost.
Far from it.
After the blistering 7-0 win in the first match of last season - we thought we had an exciting season ahead.
How wrong can you be.
Generally I was pleased with what I saw against Mansfield.
Obviously there are still failings in the squad - the defence still wasn’t working as it should - and of course the striker department is by far the weakest area of the squad.
But the style of play looks to be far better than last season.
Next few weeks to the end of the window is going to be an indicator of what to expect this season.
Last eight games at Oakwell--
Bolton 2-2
Lincoln 1-5
Cheltenham 0-0
Cambridge 0-2
Reading 2-2
Northampton 1-1
Bolton 1-3

We need a return of "Fortress Oakwell".
