We have a player whos played two out of the last three seasons in the championship. During which time he received full international recognition, received a championship player of the month award, got moved into midfield, showed he can cover at right back if required, scored EIGHT goals in a season, is hardly ever injured ....... and barnsley offer £600k!!! If it wasnt so disrespectful it would be funny.
But what makes it even worse is that some of our own think that £600k would be a fair price.
I work with dingles. The vast majority are sound blokes, but I'll tell you what they don't half over value their players. Keiffer moore was "looks ok, id sey his w'orth about haaalf a milli'un" but is now "three mill, ****in minimum". The only difference being he originally played for us and now plays for them. It really is bizarre.
Barnsley (town and club) is like a puffer fish. Rotherham (town and club) is like a cowardly lion. We've been told so often that we're ****, we believe it!
