Well - I did have that in mind when I posted it.
Hand in glove he perfectly fitted the Barnsley Way.
It was sometimes unlike football we have seen before - but it was exciting to watch and mightily effective.
Collins / Schopp style is like watching the fire go out.

Fair enough and I respect your view and you calling it out after 10 games.

The way I see it is a bit of both. I think Collins can do better but I also think that he is a reflection of where the club is at in terms of the recruitment this summer- a cheap option with no EFL managerial experience. Most of our summer signings are the same. However, I'm sure they're doing their best.

How can we expect (as the board expects :blue:)to be challenging near the top on the back of that? I like to think that we are a little more pragmatic on here which is why I was surprised at the criticism of the HC. The criticism should be laid firmly at the boardroom imo. That's the bottom line

Like myself you like a flutter Pass , what percentage chance do you give on Collins seeing the January window here .

I give him 30% .

70% at least I'll say. That's very high but I have my reasons

1 we maybe ensconced in the top 6 by then

2 can they afford to sack him?

3 will their egos allow them to admit they were wrong to appoint if indeed we are struggling?

Correct SB.

By cheap option I meant free transfers as we've pretty much done this summer. I'd kill for us to recruit our replacement defenders who at least have experience in the EFL

Neill and Jon have never been promoted or relegated in over five years at Tampa Bay Rowdies so they must have many qualities.

The fact that there is no promotion or relegation in the league Tampa play in within the USA Soccer Structure is entirely coincidental.

Go Well Neill and Jon and you guys bring us back great results from Cambridgeshire and Exetershire.

That’s a bit picky - especially when considering we got £8 million for the pair.
We could try another couple of names.
