I certainly have just read some of the proposed replacements on other social media channels. I mean talk about deluded.

Why don't you do a disappearing act 🙄
All the choking and the many bottle-jobs alone should seal his fate.
Personally, I think this is a massive test for the Bros. They might understand data but do they get the basic requirement of pro football that you have to be mentally strong to have a chance to succeed.
If we ever get into a favourable position in a key game or in a season, can we trust him and his side to see it through and win? The answer is a resounding no IMO
If Maynard is going then you would have to think that the decision will be announced in the next week or two weeks at most, because we will need certainty on who will be planning and preparing the team for next season, and because a decision any later would limit any potential boost to season ticket sales that may arise from a change.
If no change is forthcoming then I'll have to muster up what enthusiasm I can for next season, having bought my season ticket, and hope that the summer recruitment is the key to the Head Coach getting more out of our most talented players next season than he has this season. I'm not at all confident, but I'll be more than happy if I'm proved wrong.
The only observation I would add is that the anti-Maynard sentiment seems stronger on Notts MAD than amongst the general group of Notts fans I speak to in 'real life', so maybe the classic message board echo chamber effect is in play, but I think if Maynard stays he will need a very impressive start to the new season otherwise the banners might not be too long reappearing in the Kop.
If Maynard does stay which I hope he doesn't and we make a poor start resulting in his demise then it would have been a waste of a pre season.
If Maynard is leaving it will certainly be announced this week and probably as early as tomorrow. IMO I think that he will be staying because the Bros would have announced it today I'm sure, why wait any longer. So I think we all need to accept he will remain in place if we go through tomorrow without an announcement. I also expect tomorrow will be the retained / released / available to transfer announcements.
In hindsight it would have been better to sack Colin Murphy in May 1996 and Kevin Nolan in May 2018.
Under previous regimes I think any manager/head coach departure announcement would have been pretty immediate, but the brothers are well known for being patient and thinking things through very carefully before making a decision, so I think the timeframe for such things under them is slightly longer, but obviously there has to be a cut-off point.
