Need to say, as brilliant as he's been for most of the season, Fuchs had a bit of a nightmare. He wasn't great either last week so perhaps it's time to bring Butcher back in?

having watched the goals back, first one is bigger mistake by keeper than I realised at the time, thought at the game it would have been easier to use his feet to block that, third goal i think is a bit of fluke, fourth the marking looks even worse, not sure if he is even picked up, and fifth was clear to see at the time. We did look a bit bedraggled at back today and lacking in composure after first goal went in, some credit must go to Hearts for pressing and hunting in packs.
Too much of an off day from too many of our top players. The full backs struggled and fuchs and Benji stand out as having off games, i thought mulgrew seemed slower, wasn't surprised to see him go off. Credit to hearts though they have a great system and have bought players to compliment this system. Similar to what we are trying to do but i feel Mellons year at Tannadice held us back in our process. Id say the aberdeen and livi results are the only results where we can say anything bad about the manager. The players will be desperate to get things right again and it will come, we've got too much quality for it not to.
I have noticed our passing becoming a bit slower again though. Levitt playing and playing well seems to up everyone's game in this sense. Our passing yesterday seemed to be very flat and predictable with very little being played through the lines. It resulted in quite a few long balls and Clark just got eaten up or he fouled their CBs. We do still need a big striker. A big target man could have sat on Souttar yesterday, alot got played his way but nobody to challenge him and he's shocking in the air for a decent size guy. We just need more up the final 3rd of the pitch.
Ach well we have more points than i'd ever thought we'd have at this point so all is well.
1 point from the last 3 games, missed a big opportunity v 10 at Livingston and would have beaten ST Johnstone if Tam never tinkered. If he felt changes were a must he should have left it until Hearts away. The defeat by ST Johnstone was totally avoidable and annoys me the most out the blip.
BBC Sport Scotland have our game as a 'seven-goal thriller' Think that flatters us a bit cos I've had more thrills at the dentist.
Great day oot yetsterday, the futbah was the worst part
bad day at the office but hearts were decent to be fair
still 4th and like GB says mair points and a much better position than anyone could have dreamed of, social media comments are disappointing, smith, fuchs, benji getting some amount of grief which is pish when ones only 16 ffs and the other twa are a class above usually
need to beat these sheep shagging pricks and put this blip behind us, international breaks coming at a good time to give us a rest and get guys like mulgrew 100% fit
we move on.
